Bio:
Working as an Assistant Video Editor and Assistant Motion Graphics Designer on Johnny on the Spot project was a great opportunity for me to expand my skills and knowledge. I joined the project during the post-production phase, and the Commercial Production Supervisor invited me to help him with it, knowing my interest in Adobe After Effects.
We used a combination of Premiere Pro, Audition, and After Effects for this project. As an Assistant Video Editor, my main role was to help with the editing process, making cuts, and adding text. I also assisted with sound mixing and color correction. Working on this project gave me hands-on experience in using these programs and understanding how they work together.
As an Assistant Motion Graphics Designer, I worked on writing the text for the graphic elements for the video. With help from the Supervisor, I used After Effects to create animated graphics and visual effects that added to the overall aesthetic of the video.
Johnny on the Spot is a Class A Contractor that specializes in the revitalization and rejuvenation of residential and commercial properties. The video we were working on highlighted their commitment to doing things right the first time and their dedication to client satisfaction on every project.
Working on this project was an incredible learning experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of it. It was rewarding to see the final product come together and know that I played a small part in making it happen. I am excited to continue to learn and grow in the world of post-production and motion graphics.
