Role:
Production assistant
Bio:
As a production assistant, I had the opportunity to work on a project for Franco's Menswear, which was an exciting experience for me. The project required two days of production and several months of editing and revisions. It was my first time working on a professional shoot, so I was eager to learn and contribute.
On the first day, I shadowed the team to observe their ways of doing things. It was fascinating to see the process of setting up the equipment, positioning the lights, and adjusting the camera angles to capture the perfect shot. The team was focused and efficient, and I learned a lot from watching them work.
The second day was my chance to jump in and act as a production assistant. I helped with the setup and teardown of the equipment, ran errands, and shot some b-roll footage. It was an incredible experience to be a part of the production process and to see how all the pieces came together to create a cohesive final product.
During the post-production phase, I continued to assist the team by shadowing and providing input where needed. I learned about the importance of making decisions that align with the overall vision of the project, as well as the importance of communication and collaboration between team members.
Overall, my experience working on the Franco's Menswear project was a valuable one. It allowed me to gain hands-on experience in the world of production and learn from industry professionals. I look forward to taking the skills I learned on this project and applying them to future productions.
